NOVEL SOLD!

I'm thrilled to announce that Kensington will be publishing my novel HELL'S BELLES, along with the next two books in the HELL ON EARTH series. WOOT! The offer was made to my agent, Ethan Ellenberg, in a pre-empt, and we accepted. The terms of the contract have been hammered out...and it's official. WOOT, AGAIN!

Kensington will be publishing the book as a trade paperback, as well as a mass market paperback. DOUBLE WOOT!

Holy cow...I have to get started writing the next two books! What am I doing here, blogging? I have to write, write, write!

HELL'S BELLES, Kensington, 2007. Take note. :-)

Wow. Think you can rub some of that agent magic over here? That seems like a damned quick turnaround from landing an agent to a three-book deal...

My agent has had Goblin Hero at the publishers for almost a week, and I *still* haven't heard anything :-P

Congrats again (if I haven't said it enough on other forums). That's wonderful!

Thanks, Jim! I'm passing you the Kool Aid--take a swig!

Yeah, the whole thing was a complete whirlwind. Ethan made an offer of representation just over a week from getting the e-query, and John at Kensington made an offer in just over a week from getting Ethan's submission package. I think I got very, very lucky in terms of marketplace timing. Gah, but I'm sweating over the next book. I must write!

Best of luck to you with Goblin Hero! I'm rooting for you!

Thanks, Martha! :-) My editor said my writing was "dark and edgy," and I thought, Wow--that's like saying I'm in Martha's league! Really! (And to this day, my mother STILL hasn't returned my copy of TBP. Sheesh...)
