I (Heart) E.J. Knapp

You heard me. I (heart) E.J. Knapp. And here's why.

Minor update
The chapter outline for HOT is coming along fine. I have the first five chapters, the last six chapters, and a whole mess in the middle that I hope will work out to about seven chapters.

TIDBIT: I throw some actual lines of text into the chapter outline; it helps me with the overall flavor. My favorite lines for HOT so far? Jezebel and Daunuan are discussing how Daun can get information on a particular mortal who's slated for Heaven -- Hell has no records of her:

Jezebel rolled her eyes. "For [BLEEP]'s sake, Daun, just Google her."
"Sounds kinky."
"No, you dumb demon. Do a search on the Internet."

Dammit!!! You HAVE to put a coffee notice before puting that kind of sample up! I Sprayed my monitor when I read that.

Great going on the book though :)

Nice mention by EJ... he rocks.

Great blog. How did I ever miss it?

And...only twenty chapters or so? How on earth do you do that? I always end up with my chapters in the 30s. Ugh!!

Hee, thanks so much, everyone!

EJ -- You're the BEST! (Along with Heather, Ewoh, Richelle, Caitlin, Patti, Lynn, Faith, Zinnia, Keith...gosh, y'all know who you are...)

Sybir -- THANKS! Yeah, Jezzie loves the Internet. Must have something to do with all the prawn...

Ewoh -- LOL, sorry about the spray. But I'm psyched you liked. (Ooh, a rhyme!) And thanks about the outline -- I'm eager to nail this puppy (woof) and do more actual writing!

Colleen -- THANKS! I'm very unwell, because I have three blogs: this one, Cat and Muse, and Magical Minxes, which Richelle and I do together. (Minds out of the gutter, kids.) Let's see, HB had 26 chapters (I think), and ROAD had 22 (ditto the I think part). HB was a bit short -- 79,000 words. ROAD is 82,000. ((shrug)) It's all magic...
