Hey, America -- VOTE!

If you're American, on Tuesday, November 7, do your duty and VOTE.

(All the cool people who read about demons running away from Hell are doing it...)

That's probably because people believe have a better chance of making a difference with the Idol contestants than they do in an election.

Also, you can vote for Idol via your phone, but unless you vote absentee, you have to actually go to a polling place.

Isn't this whole freedom of choice and Democracy a lot of work? You would think that someone would have come up with a way to vote via phone... If you want to vote for candidate A, press #1, if you want to vote for candidate B, press #2, etc. Tech support has this technology. Credit card companies and banks have this technology. If your bank and credit accounts are safe enough, why can't they do it for voting?

Sorry for the rant. I'm a techie and I just hate how Diebold and others have completely bolluxed electronic voting. They have made the voting experience worse in a country where it is damned hard to get people out to participate in the first place.

Ahh, I just vote to get the demons OUT of office. I swear...if one demon gets back in this year...I'm running against him next time :)

And yes, I think more people would vote if we could vote from the comfort of our computers. Realized that today on my way to our voting place.
