First: As of this moment, the Democrats -- now in control of the House for the first time since 1994 -- have 50 seats in the Senate, with Virginia still too close to call.

Second: OMG, US Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld is stepping down!!!

HOW FREAKING AWESOME is it that we have our first-ever FEMALE SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE??? Nancy! Nancy! Nancy!

AND...
Minnesota elected the first-ever Muslim to Congress. HUZZAH, KEITH!!!
