Oh My Freaking God

Para porn?

PARA PORN?

Holy crap on toast.

That's it. I'm going to need a section for Short Jewish White Women's Paranormal Dark Fantasy Humor Horror novels.

I think I'm going to write a humor book called SHELF ME. And it's going to be all about the various categories the Bookstore Of The Future will have to carry so that it properly represents all authors--whether the authors want to be represented that way or not.

What do you think? Should I?

I had an email conversation with Kasey Michaels about the difficulty in shelving her "Maggie" books. These have a fantasy element--Maggie writes a Regency mystery series with a sexy hero who come to life. A twist on the "comedy of manners" element of Regency romance, and a funny series. But do you shelf it in romance? Mystery? Fantasy? General fiction?

My solution is this: print four times as many copies and shelf it everywhere.
