For the Love of All That's Holy, Whyyyyyyy?

I just saw X-Men 3: The Last Straw.

My brains leaked out of my ears around the time that Charles explained to Wolverine The Sordid Truth Behind Jean's Powers.

This movie really should have come with a warning: anyone who ever read the original X-Men comics should proceed at their own risk.

And this is why I will never, ever, EVER rent Constantine. Everyone knows that John Constantine is BRITISH and BLOND, and he wears a TAN trench coat. DON'T make him American, brunette, in black...and, God help me, Keanu Reeves. John says "Bollocks." He does NOT say "Whoa."

Grrrrr.

Yeah. I'm still pissed about Constantine AND X3. I don't want to talk about it.

Man, I loved Hellblazer.

I felt the same way about X3. It was a major lunchbag letdown. I also wondered why Wolverine's clothes all were melted off but his pants weren't. Sadly.

I must say I liked Constantine, however, I never read the comics.

Yes. Yes and Yes. I have never recovered from the Anger That Was X3. And Constantine? *sobs* I like the story, but why why why couldn't they have left him as he was?

I have to agree with Michelle on Constantine...I never read the comics so Keanu didnt bother me and I liked it. As to X3, I thought it was decent but hated that Jean killed Xavier. It also seemed rushed

Yes, but both John and Keanu know Kung Fu. Right? Right?

Jackie,
I saw both X3 and Constantine, and was disappointed by both. I never read Constantine, but the idea of Keanu actually trying to play a cool role was annoying enough by itself!
